Nationality: Russia

Academic background: PhD in Political science. Russian Academy of the State Service under the President of the Russian Federation. Russian University of Chemical Technology in Moscow named after D. Mendeleev. High Military College of chemical defense, Russia, Saratov.

Work Experience:

2018 – present:  UNODC Country Representative in the Islamic Republic of Iran.

2011 – 2018:   UNODC Head of the UNODC Programme Office / Senior Programme Coordinator in Kyrgyzstan.

2008 – 2011:  Official Representative of the Federal Drug Control Service of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Austria with a diplomatic rang of the Counsellor of the Embassy Russian Federation in Austria.

2003 - 2008:  Chief of Unit, Department of International Cooperation FDSC of the Russian Federation.

1994 - 2003:  Chief of Forensic section, at the police service of the Forensic Department of Moscow Main Directorate of Interior, Ministry of Interior.

During his police service at the Ministry of Interior (MoI) of the Russian Federation, he served as member of the UN peace keeping contingent of the Russian MoI in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) in UNMIBH (UN Mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina) in 2000-2003. Among different positions within the UN peacekeeping mission to BiH, the latest was the IPTF Chief of Logistics of the UN Field Mission at HQ of UN mission to BiH in Saraevo.
